The Basler racer line scan cameras offer an exceptional price/performance ratio. This camera delivers high performance thanks to the CMOS sensor technology. Racer cameras have a compact, slim industrial housing ideally suited for multi-camera systems with many line scan cameras installed next to each other. Based on their standard width of 56 mm, they can easily replace older line scan camera models.
This camera has an RJ-45 jack for Gigabit Ethernet, a 6-pin connector for 12 VDC power, and a 12-pin connector for general I/O. There are three inputs that can accept RS-422, RS-644 LVDS, or low voltage TTL signals. An input can be used to trigger acquisition, trigger frame start, trigger line start, or receive signals from phase A or phase B of an encoder. The camera has two outputs that can be used with RS-422, RS-644 LVDS, or TTL type devices. The outputs can indicate exposure active, acquisition trigger wait, frame trigger wait, line trigger wait, or a user condition controlled by the API.
Because this camera is GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, there are many third party software applications and API’s that are compatible. Basler offers their royalty-free Pylon SDK for 32 and 64 bit Windows and Linux platforms. Pylon includes a free utility app for setting camera parameters, viewing images and saving images.
Each camera is fully tested and calibrated for consistently high performance and reliability.

This camera is warranted by the manufacturer to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of three (3) years from the date of original factory manufacture.
Small quantities of cameras normally stocked by Machine Vision Store may be returned within 30 days, subject to a 20% restocking charge, if original package is unopened and in new condition. Larger quantities are subject to Basler's 40% restocking charge. Open packages may not be returned.
All returns must be pre-authorized by Machine Vision Store and shipped with freight pre-paid. Please contact us to request authorization and instructions. The item's serial number and associated sales order number will be needed.
