The SVS-Vistek fxo990MCX camera offers 1.3 MP resolution, a CoaXPress interface for 134 frames per second, and the ability to solve unique imaging problems. It is built on the Sony IMX990 image sensor. With support for PoCXP, the single-cable CXP-12 interface can be used to power the camera.
SWIR (short-wave infrared) cameras can reveal features that are otherwise invisible. See flaws, contaminants, and moisture in a variety of materials. Imaging in NIR or SWIR can often see through features you wish to ignore, such as pigments, fog, and some plastics. SWIR can also be used to differentiate between some chemicals based on their different absorption spectra. For example, at 1450 nm, a bottle of water is opaque but a bottle of mineral oil is transparent.
Using SenSWIR technology from Sony, this camera produces a homogeneous image across wavelengths ranging from 400 to 1700 nm. This can enable innovative solutions that combine images captured in the visible, NIR, and SWIR ranges. Use the camera's integrated 4-channel strobe controller to power one of our multi-channel SWIR LED lights.
