SVCam Kit includes several components. There are GenTL drivers for SVS-Vistek USB and GigE cameras. There is SVCapture for configuring cameras, displaying images, and saving images. And there is an API for software developers.

SVS-Vistek Ethernet cameras are GigE Vision compliant. You may use the GigE Vision drivers included with your favorite imaging application, in which case there may be no need to install this software. Likewise, SVS-Vistek USB cameras are USB3 Vision compliant and compatible with many imaging applications.

Furthermore, SVCam enables GenTL compatible third-party software. Just specify the path to the GenTL driver included (a *.cti file) and the third-party software can retrieve the camera information necessary for configuration and grabbing.

The current release includes both a pixel defect correction tool and shading correction wizard.
