How to place an order with Machine Vision Store
We're easy. Order using the method you prefer.
Order Online
- Browse our catalog and use our technology centers to choose the items you need.
- You can check the availability of most items by signing in, then clicking the 'Check Inventory' button near the top of each product page.
- Click the 'Add to Cart' button near the top of the appropriate product pages.
Note you can build and manage multiple shopping carts.
Think of each as a project's Bill of Materials.
- View your carts by clicking the shopping cart icon at the top-right corner of every page.
Or, click the Account -- View Carts menu.
- Click the 'View and Checkout' link next to the cart you wish to purchase.
- After reviewing and adjusting your cart's content, click the 'Checkout' button.
You will be prompted to sign in or register, if you have not already done so.
- Add or edit the shipping address, then choose the shipping method.
- Review the cost, choose the payment method, and agree to our standard terms and conditions.
- Click 'Complete Order Now'. You should receive a confirmation email within ten minutes.
Be sure to check your junk email folder in case it was incorrectly routed there.
Please contact us if you do not receive the confirmation.
- We'll review your order and estimate the ship date before contacting you for payment.
Please do not email us your credit card number, as email is not secure.
We can either send you a link to our secure payment site, or take your credit card info by phone.
Send Purchase Order
If you find it easier to send us a purchase order, please do so.
- So that there is no confusion as to exactly which items you need, please include our catalog item number for each line item.
Our catalog item "numbers" all start with four alphabetic characters, followed by three or four numeric digits, sometimes followed by a suffix.
For example, "PRBR100" or "CABR282-CS". The catalog item number is displayed near the top of each product page.
- Unless we have already approved Net 30 payment terms (see below) for your company, please mark "Credit Card" as the payment method on your PO.
Approving payment terms may delay your order.
- Please include your complete contact info.
- Specify the delivery address.
Our freight carrier also requires the name and phone number of a contact at the delivery site.
- We ship via FedEx. Please indicate your preferred method: Ground, Express Saver, Two Day, One Day, or One Day Priority.
You may provide us with your FedEx account number if you prefer direct billing.
We can drop ship direct to third parties within the US.
- We'll review your order and estimate the ship date before emailing you an order acknowledgement.
We accept all major credit cards, as well as PayPal.
We can either send you a link to our secure payment site, or accept your card info by phone.
- The order is not valid unless we send you an order acknowledgement. Our standard terms and conditions will apply.
Please do not email us your credit card number, or put the number on your purchase order, as email is not secure.

Sometimes the telephone is the easiest way to place an order, especially if you have questions.

We do not operate a large call center, so please understand if we need to call you back.
We will ask you for:
- Your complete contact information.
- The catalog numbers of the items you need, as well as quantities.
We can usually estimate the ship date as we enter each item.
- The delivery address, and the name and phone number of a person at the delivery site.
- The FedEx shipping method you prefer.
- You may provide us with your FedEx account number if you prefer direct billing.
- Your credit card info. We accept all major cards.
We'll email you an order confirmation indicating you've paid in full. Our standard terms and conditions will apply.
Additional Info
- For your protection, we do not store credit card numbers. We will ask for your payment info on receipt of each order.
- By default, we will hold your items until we are able to ship your complete order.
Let us know if you prefer to receive partial shipments as items become available.

- We are required to collect sales/use tax in some states. If your purchase is tax exempt, please email us a completed exemption certificate.
- If you really need it fast but we don't have it in stock, please contact us.
There may be factory inventory we can have shipped direct to you.
(This is especially true of lenses.)
Or we may have a similar item in stock that can be substituted.
- We believe you'll find our published prices competitive against all authorized distributors.
Nonetheless, we encourage large-volume customers to contact us about possible quantity discounts.
Credit Applications
If you're based in the U.S., your first order will exceed $1000, and you expect to make purchases every month or so, you're welcome to apply for credit terms.
To do so, please send us your:
- Complete contact info
- Full legal name and address of company or institution
- Company DUNS number, if known
- Anticipated amount of your first purchase
Our payment terms are Net 30 days. The credit application process typically requires a few business days.
If you expect to make smaller or less frequent purchases, or you work for a startup company, we're happy to accept payment via credit card or PayPal instead.
