Best-in-class robot guidance for random bin picking
Locates 3D objects using data from PhoXi scanners
Path planning for 6-axis robots
Supports cobots and robots from 9 leading manufacturers

Photoneo Bin Picking Studio is a best-in-class solution that enables robots to reliably pick randomly positioned items from a bin. Created for robot programmers skilled in using CAD software, Bin Picking Studio enables solutions to be developed quickly.

Connect Photoneo Bin Picking Studio to your robot, and to up to four PhoXi 3D scanners. Train the software on the CAD models of the parts to be picked, as well as on a model of the work cell. Configure how the gripper will grasp the parts. Calibrate the system using a sphere. Bin Picking Studio will then locate the parts and plan the path necessary for the robot’s end effector to pick and release.

Many robot models from ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Kuka, Mitsubish, Nachi, Staubli, Universal, and Yaskawa are supported.

Photoneo Bin Picking Studio is available in three versions. All versions enable collision-free movement in complex work cells.

BIN PICKING STUDIO LITE FOR COBOTS

Designed for cobots, this version can receive data from a model S, M, or L PhoXi scanner having a class 2 laser. Store up to three solutions on the system. Eight hours of remote support is included.

BIN PICKING STUDIO LITE

Similar to Lite for Cobots, but supports small and medium reach robots.

BIN PICKING STUDIO FULL

Integrates with up to four PhoXi scanners of any size. Includes advanced path planning for robots of any reach. Store an unlimited number of solutions on the system. Includes sixteen hours of remote support.
