Connect Photoneo Bin Picking Studio to your robot, and to up to four PhoXi 3D scanners. Train the software on the CAD models of the parts to be picked, as well as on a model of the work cell. Configure how the gripper will grasp the parts. Calibrate the system using a sphere. Bin Picking Studio will then locate the parts and plan the path necessary for the robot’s end effector to pick and release.
Many robot models from ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Kuka, Mitsubish, Nachi, Staubli, Universal, and Yaskawa are supported.
