The Kowa LM50JCM was designed for cameras having about 5 micron pixels, megapixel or otherwise. This lens has 120 lp/mm resolution at center and 100 lp/mm in corners.
This lens has a compact metal housing that moves the front and rear spherical elements independently for better resolution and contrast, regardless of working distance. The focus and aperture adjustments lock-down with thumb-screws to resist equipment vibration.
