Matrox Imaging Transition
Matrox Imaging has been part of Zebra Technologies since June of 2022. As Matrox Imaging products and support are folded into Zebra, you’ll want to be aware of several changes.
- Matrox Design Assistant is now named Zebra Aurora Design Assistant. Likewise, Matrox Imaging Library is now named Zebra Aurora Imaging Library. This is not to be confused with Aurora Vision Library, which is a different product. (The word “Aurora” is attached to all Zebra machine vision software products.)
- Vision Academy has moved! This is a great resource for learning about image processing, whether using Zebra Aurora Imaging Library or Zebra Aurora Design Assistant. As always, access to introductory videos is free, while the move advanced topics are reserved for registered users. Be sure to bookmark https://www.zebra.com/us/en/vision-academy.html.
- Automated software updates are now available from the Zebra website, instead of the Matrox Imaging website. To continue receiving updates, you must use the MIL Config utilty to download and install MIL X Update 127.
