The Zebra FS42-SR20 is a category-leading fixed industrial scanner offering superior read rates, flexibility, and ease of use. The FS42-SR20 model features a 2.3 MP imager and standard working range.
The Zebra FS42 fixed industrial scanners are a family of imagers that can read 1D and 2D codes. Depending on the configuration chosen, they can also read DPM (Direct-Part-Mark) codes and perform deep-learning OCR (Optical Character Recognition.) The Zebra FS42 ensures efficient track-and-trace performance in production, warehousing, distribution and logistics.
The Zebra FS42 has the power to grow with your needs. The Zebra Aurora Focus software platform is common to all FS and VS imaging products, enabling you to solve code-reading, OCR, smart sensor and machine vision installations with the same software application. Cameras can be upgraded with additional tools as your requirements change.
Ethernet with PoE
The Ethernet interface not only enables communication with other industrial devices, but can be used to power this scanner. With support for PoE and PoE+, cabling can be simplified. Alternatively, standard 24V DC power or a USB-C port can be used instead.
Reliable Built-in Lighting
Choose the integrated lighting that works best for your codes. While standard configurations include a red or white light. blue and infrared are also available.
Programmable I/O
The Zebra FS42 enables control of up to 9 digital I/O signals. You can add peripherals, activate lights, or trigger an action to more fully automated your process.
Tough and Reliable
The aluminum housing is chemical and oil resistant. The IP65 and IP67 ratings indicate this scanner is dust-tight and able to withstand high-power washdown, and even immersion in water.
