This Micro-Nikkor 55 mm f/2.8 prime lens is in like-new condition. The lens was always stored in the original plastic bag, inside the carton. The carton shows a some wear from being shifted around our imaging lab over a few decades. The lens is clean, has never been used in the field, and shows no signs of wear.
The manual focus ring has engraved markings for distance and depth of field.
This lens was designed for FX-format F-mount cameras, however can also be used with DX models where it provides an 82.5mm equivalent focal length. The close-range correction system enables macro shooting.
