The Leimac IDR-LA-8ch series of LED machine vision lights can enhance object flaws or edges. The low-angle direct ring light has bullet-type LED elements that project strong oblique light on workpieces at close range.
The IDR-LA-8ch series enables control of eight independent banks of LEDs. Photometric stereo techniques can be applied to synthesize high-performance images, potentially revealing object features such as contours, holes and surface defects that would otherwise have insufficient contrast.
