The Leimac IRLMAR-110B ring light was designed for mounting on the end of robot arms.

Cable runs on robot arms are expensive, and can be troublesome. Cables are often subjected to rolling and twisting. Premature wear can cause lost production time.

Reduce the number of cable runs on your robot with the Leimac IRLMAR LED light. Previously, imaging installations would often require three cables -- camera Ethernet cable, trigger cable, and light cable. Now, this innovative controller-less design requires just a single cable run. An Ethernet cable is used to power both the camera and the light. The trigger signal between camera and light is made directly on the arm, without a cable run. This design enables high-speed synchronized image acquisition while providing complete flexibility in camera selection.

This LED ring light avoids the "donut effect" common to many ring lights. A portion of the light is aimed toward the optical axis, assuring good illumination intensity at image center. Furthermore, the integrated diffuser helps create more even illumination.

This LED light is compatible with both PoE and PoE+ power sources. Run the Ethernet cable to the light. The light includes a "splitter" with trigger and Ethernet connections for the camera. Although we recommend use with our Basler GigE Vision cameras, other camera brands are also supported with the appropriate cabling options.

Models with white, red, or blue LEDs are available, as is an 8-channel model that enables computational imaging.
