The Opto-Engineering EL5MP0856 lens provides near-instant electrical adjustment of the lens's focus.
The Opto-Engineering EL5MP lenses offer precise adjustments to the focus using the integrated Optotune liquid lens. A precise thermal calibration algorithm enables excellent repeatability. With no mechanical parts to wear, this lens is guaranteed for over 1 billion cycles.
Application examples include inspection tasks in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and medical industries, as well as guiding robot arms for pick & place and bin-picking. Or whenever the distance from the lens to the object varies too much for a conventional lens's depth of field.
Lens controller and cable are sold separately.
