The JC5MC Series is great for machine vision projects when mounting space is a concern. This Kowa JC5MC has all the features and performance characteristics most applications demand.
This lens has an ultra compact metal housing that moves the front and rear spherical elements independently for better resolution and contrast, regardless of working distance. The focus and aperture adjustments lock-down with thumb-screws to resist equipment vibration.
The optical resolution is 160 lp/mm at center and 100 lp/mm at the corners. The minimum object distance is just 150 mm.
This wide-angle lens is appropriate for machine vision applications requiring a large field of view.
