This Schneider 25-1097301 f2.8 50 mm lens is a direct replacement for the 25-014796. Optical performance is identical, but the new version has f/number values marked on the barrel.
Schneider-Kreuznach Pyrite high-resolution lenses were designed for line scan cameras with up to 8K pixels, and also work well with many area scan cameras. These lenses provide excellent images over a magnification range of 0.5X to 30X. Due to their mechanical stability and the robust V-mount interface enabling simpler adjustment of the best azimuth position, the system is exceptionally well suited to demanding, continuous industrial use.
