Everything about this USB3 3.0 board screams speed. It has four independent USB controllers for maximum simultaneous bandwidth. The NEC/Renesas controllers are Intel® xHCI compliant for efficient data transfer. And these are coupled to a four-lane, Gen2 PCI Express host interface. This board is ideal for communicating with up to four high-bandwidth devices simultaneously.

There are four USB connectors on the faceplate. Two of these have a pair of M2 tapped holes for securing screw-type cable connectors.
