The Matrox Indio can turn a PC into a true vision system. It combines a Gigabit Power-over-Ethernet port with 16 discrete real-time I/O.
The 8 discrete inputs and 8 discrete outputs are provided for interfacing with other industrial devices. The optically isolated signals can be configured for either TTL or 24V signals. Inputs support a rotary encoder, while outputs are protected by resettable fuses. Outputs can be set in real-time, independent of the host operating system, based on event occurrence. Examples of events include an input rising or falling, timer or counter completion, and rotary encoder position.
Develop your own software app using the Aurora Imaging Library, and the Indio becomes a cost-effective vision system. Or graphically build an inspection flow-chart using Aurora Design Assistant, without having to write any code. This card includes both GigE and industrial communication (robot/PLC) run-time licenses for Aurora software.
ACQUISITION SOFTWARE
Aurora Imaging Library (AIL) is a comprehensive software development kit (SDK) for machine vision. It powers capture, manipulation and analysis of both 2D and 3D images. AIL LITE is a software development kit that enables image capture, display, annotation, and archiving.
Aurora Design Assistant (DA) is a flow-chart based integrated development environment. Capture from any GigE Vision or USB3 Vision compliant camera. Manipulate and analyze images to make pass/fail decisions, then exchange data with a PLC or robot.
