The ICX625ALA is a diagonal 11.016 mm (Type 2/3) interline CCD solid-state image sensor with a square pixel array and 5.05M effective pixels. Progressive scan enables all pixel signals to be output separately within approximately 1/15 second, and also output using various addition and elimination methods. This chip features an electronic shutter with variable charge-stored time which makes it possible to realize full-frame still images without a mechanical shutter. High sensitivity and low dark current are achieved through the adoption of Super HAD CCD technology.
