These 1394b “Firewire” cables are by far the best we’ve ever seen. They are quality inside and out, end-to-end. They deliver very controlled 110 Ohm impedance with high performance for skew, attenuation and crosstalk.
These features were not prerequisites when the first IEEE-1394 specification was issued, at the time limiting the maximum cable length to 4.5 meters. We can now offer safe operation with cables up to 10 meters in length.
This cable has a 9-pin non-locking connector on each end. It supports speeds up to S800.
