Fluorescing Sheet

Achieve a backlight effect using front illumination
Blue light causes sheet to fluoresce
Combine with orange bandpass filter
Assortment of sizes

This innovative fluorescing sheet lets you achieve a backlight effect when using only front illumination. Projecting blue light onto the fluorescing sheet causes it to emit orange light. Mounting an orange (590 nm) bandpass filter on a monochrome camera's lens will then image the orange emitted light, while blocking the blue front light. Thus, you can have a backlight without the space and power source typically needed behind the object.

The fluorescing sheets are thin, durable, flexible, tear-resistant, and repel water. They can be cut and bent to fit as needed. Sheets have a self-adhesive backing.
