This 110 mm RGB ring light has intermingled red, green and blue LEDs. It is ideal for imaging parts that come in an assortment of colors. It is also a powerful tool for creating computational imaging systems.
Each channel's intensity can be controlled independently, using a light controller sold separately. The red, green and blue intensities can be mixed as needed to create other colors. Please see the Accessories section below for recommended light controllers. You will want a controller having at least three output channels per RGB light.
This multi-purpose light will accentuate different object features based on the working distance. Simply move the light closer or further from the object until you achieve optimal contrast. This LED light avoids the "donut effect" common to many ring lights. A portion of the light is aimed toward the optical axis, assuring good illumination intensity at image center. Furthermore, the integrated diffuser helps create more even illumination.
