The EDX-104J unmanaged Ethernet switch has five ports. There are four PoE+ ports that will deliver 25.5 watts power to each port, with a total power budget of 80 watts. There is also an additional port for a computer. All ports comply with 802.3 (10BASE-T), 802.3u (100BASE-TX) and 802.3ab (1000BASE-T).

We recommend this switch for industrial camera networks, so long as the data through-put does not exceed the capabilities of Ethernet. 10 KB jumbo frames are supported, and there is 1 MB of buffer memory.

This switch may be powered by an upstream PoE source ("PSE"), or an external 24 VDC or 48 VDC supply. You'll need the external power supply if your connected devices draw more than 25 watts.

This is an industrial-grade switch for mounting on a DIN rail. This switch is IP50, rated for 25°C to 70°C ambient temperatures without a cooling fan.

We recommend use with our double-shielded CAT-6 cables.
